Finally, check out our site for other reviews. The bonus of diverse missions and economy make it a great game to play again and again. Overall, Tropico 6 on PC is a fun building game. The sandbox allows you free reign to create your country as you see fit. They each run through different game mechanics, whilst imposing restrictions to increase the difficulty. The fifteen-story missions are tutorials with a good story. Though I am aware this isn’t real life, it does take the fun out of the game. This feels like overkill and I ended up having a row of bars to hit my quota. If you promise to make the island more fun, you may have to put nightclubs and bars on every street. I was thrown a couple of times by “Tropico Logic”. But, be careful as you can spunk too much money on lama farms and not be able to get back out. ![]() Green areas will produce more stock, and so will happy well-paid workers. Areas for certain farms and factories are highlighted in green to red. You have to balance the happiness of your workers with the export routes you can pick from. The big part of Tropico 6 is the economy. Bribery, assassinations and election rigging are all par for the course. ![]() These factions have to be appeased or ignored to keep the peace and you in power. You also have to deal with the happiness of the locals, making sure they have food, hospitals, entertainment etc.Įach member of your population belongs to a faction. Only one of the eras has a time limit, while the others allow you to play for as long as you want. ![]() I do find the road “snapping” to be a bit random, and have spent many hours trying to snap two roads together. The tools for roads and construction are easy to use and quick to pick up. There is a fantastic sandbox mode, and several story missions to keep you busy. Tropico 6 continues the look of the other games while giving a boost to the graphics. I love the freedom you have to create whatever country you want, but you are still susceptible to the economy of the rest of the world. With Tropico 6 on PC, El Presidente is back! Prove yourself once again as a feared dictator or peace-loving statesman on the island state of Tropico and shape the fate of your very own banana republic through four distinctive eras.
